🏆 OCTOBER 18 IS OFFICIALLY @MEENR_ONE DAY IN THE CITY OF HOUSTON! 🎨🔥

What started as a vision has grown into a movement that continues to leave a lasting impact on our city!

As we celebrate the successful completion of the 3rd Annual @buffalobayoumuralfestival, it’s only right that we recognize the man who started it all — our founder, Jose “MEENR” Arredondo! 👏

In just three years, the BBMF has been responsible for bringing 105 murals to Houston’s East End, transforming the historic Second Ward (Segundo Barrio) into a vibrant destination for art, culture, and creativity.

But this movement has always been about more than murals. It’s about creating opportunities for artists, bringing people together, celebrating our roots, and building a legacy that future generations can be proud of.

A special thank you to Christina Morales, Joaquin Martinez, and the Mayor’s Office for recognizing Jose’s dedication, vision, and commitment to uplifting the community through art.

From one idea to 105 murals, three incredible years, and now an official day in the city of Houston. This is what happens when passion meets purpose. 🙌

The art speaks for itself. The impact will last for generations.

Happy MEENR DAY! 🎨🏆
