Fancy digital photography of the busiest week of my life
I'm so glad I'm still doing music. I genuinely thought about stopping pre-being Maebh. It's my favourite thing in the world other than my loved ones and garlic & smoked paprika hummus.

THAT WAS THE BUSIEST WEEK OF MY LIFE
this might be my most excessively long post ever.

Thanks to @ladyhawkeforyou & @bigfan_nz for having me in the studio with 8 of the coolest queermusos I've ever met 💚

Finally having a release gig for @velveteenshakes' debut album was glorious 🪩

@jayp.mp3, @wrenneso & I are cooking something up with @codestheband, wild to jam with @loxmynness again for the first time since Grey Lynn Primary School band 🎺

Also I watched Blue Velvet and said it seemed like a comedy and then Una grimaced and all of the Lynchian things started happening

🎸 | ONES TO WATCH RETURNS!

Live Nation’s Ones To Watch returns to Auckland’s Tuning Fork on Wednesday 23 September, bringing together a fresh lineup of some of Aotearoa’s most exciting rising artists for the latest instalment of the emerging artist showcase.

The latest Ones To Watch lineup shines a light on Heidi Simpson, DAWSON and Fables, three exciting emerging acts bringing fresh energy and distinct sounds to the stage.

Following a standout Wellington showcase earlier this year, Ones To Watch heads north to Auckland’s Tuning Fork, continuing to champion the next generation of Kiwi artists making waves across Aotearoa. Launched in the US in 2017, the global platform has supported the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa and Gracie Abrams, while shining a spotlight on homegrown talent including Borderline, Frankie Venter and Ella Monnery

🎵 | Congrats to these talented kiwi artists!
