ADE BEATS 2026 - Speakers Announcement 🚨

‘Gowtu: Elevating the Sound of Suriname’

The Amsterdam-based organisation Gowtu has been promoting and elevating the latest sounds and popular new artists from Suriname for over 8 years, organising sold-out concerts at venues and festivals from the country’s newest generation of home-grown superstars, for music enthusiasts as a whole and the diasporic Suriname community in Europe specifically.

As these sounds from the inlands of Suriname become increasingly more mainstream, Gowtu presents a talk on these infectious and deeply rooted modern-day electronic music sounds, some of its most prominent young prospects, the connections between Suriname artists and the huge success of Suriname club sounds on a global scale, and the prospect of Suriname as a creative and commercial music hub in Latin America linking continents and communities.

ADE Beats 2026 is part of ADE’s Culture Hub on Saturday October 24. The upcoming days we will be rolling out more conference updates. Stay tuned for more details! See you in Amsterdam, fam. Let’s go! 🔥 #ADE26 #ADEBeats #Gowtu
