Meet @officialhopelessromantics.

The Boston based pop rock band is made up of Reid Kieper, Drew Leuci, Colin McNamara, and Sean Smith. Their music pulls from the energy of pop rock while keeping things personal, melodic, and rooted in the DIY spirit that brought the band together in the first place.

For their debut album, I’ll Tell You Later, the four spent an entire year writing, arranging, recording, and releasing the record independently.

We’re excited to now represent The Hopeless Romantics through Peatt Entertainment for live bookings. We’re looking forward to helping get their music in front of more people and bringing them to stages around Boston and beyond.

For bookings: frankie@peattentertainment.com

Happy Friday! Every week I sift through the music, conversations, and sessions that came across my desk and pick 5 things that made my week.

1 the song I can’t stop looping this week. A Girl Called Chop Suey - @theamplifierheads . Off of their new album Super 8. A great tune that evoked memories of growing up and listening to the radio.

2 I love to revisit conversations I have had with artists and this week I was thinking about something Brian Leighton - From @gbleighton said during his interview- on his new album he has a song called “Just Be Good Today”. He shared a story about that song when we talked. That story hit me again this week. Basically it is “Just find a way to be good today. For yourself, for your family for society” A great message!

3 Spent lots of time this week working on several episodes that have been recorded recently. I’m excited to share them with you.

4 I have listened back to my episode with @thisisshannonclark , it was my first episode recorded live @craftedncuredtroy . I loved how the sound came together in that space. I have to shout out @rabbitholeradiomn for his gear and set up advice. I learned something about things going forward related to recording live performance as well.

5 Hidden Gem: I would be remiss if I didn’t point you to a great album from an artist I recently recorded an episode with. It will be airing soon. The group @officialhopelessromantics . Their album I’ll Tell You Later.
