Some friends have released a song called ”UNITED WE STAND” to honor and pay tribute to those who are fighting and striving to maintain peace in our world. Without focusing on any specific conflict or getting too political—read between the lines…
Written by @robinredofficial , @rockertompa and @matsericsson90
Robin on bass/all vocals. Mats on drums and production. Thomas on guitars. Also in this song is @jbjornfot_official from @officialkvaen AND an intense guitarsolo by none other than @pontus_norgren from @hammerfall_official

You really should listen to this song and share it 🤘

@officialkvaen slår hardt fra seg med høy hastighet og rå riff med røtter i 80-tallets speed metal og den tidlige ekstremmetallen🤘🏼

Now spinning: KVAEN – The Formless Fires (2024) 🔥⚔️

Melodic black/death metal forged in the far north of Sweden. KVAEN is the Viking-inspired solo project of Jakob Björnfot, best known as the guitarist of Swedish death metal band The Duskfall. Founded in 2018, KVAEN began as Björnfot's own musical vision before eventually expanding into a full band, with former Amon Amarth drummer Fredrik Andersson among the members of the lineup.

The Formless Fires is a blistering combination of melodic black metal atmosphere, aggressive death metal riffing and epic, windswept melodies. Fast, fierce and highly melodic, it balances the cold darkness of black metal with the crushing weight of Swedish death metal.

For me, this is Melodic Black/Death Metal album of the year! 🤘🔥

And of course, the vinyl makes it even more special for a collector: limited to only 200 copies worldwide, individually numbered, on blue vinyl with black & white splatter. 💙🖤🤍

A beautiful pressing for an album that sounds anything but beautiful. ⚔️
