Art is my therapy.

Baby, when I tell you that photography was a whole air in the early 2000s, I had everyone in front of my lens in LA. I definitely think it’s time to pick the camera back up and see if I still got it.

Beautiful 🤩 afternoon spent at the White Hot Jazz Brunch with the women of the Beta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc! From the venue to the prizes to the food and to the people in the room this brunch embodied the commitment and work that each woman put in throughout this past year! Job well done ladies! @fashionnova #fashionnova

This weekend was truly beautiful—filled with joy, gratitude, and purpose. I had the privilege of attending Beta Alpha Omega’s Jazz Brunch, where the proceeds support students pursuing their college education.
I was especially grateful to share a table with a remarkable group of women who are not only pillars in our community but also champions of education and lifelong inspiration. Their wisdom, leadership, and commitment to uplifting others were a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we invest in the next generation.
There is something deeply fulfilling about giving back. When you contribute to a cause greater than yourself, it creates a sense of purpose and connection that enriches both the giver and the recipient. I left the brunch inspired, encouraged, and thankful for the opportunity to support such a meaningful mission.
Moments like these remind me that service, community, and education are among the greatest gifts we can offer one another

A few December posts from Pixies and Paws raise an important question 🐾

What do they all have in common 🤔

🐶 Puppies described as “rescues” after breeders were unable to sell them for the holidays
🐶 Puppies sourced directly from breeders due to overbreeding and unsold inventory
🐶 Puppies marketed as healthy, socialized, medically cleared, and ready for adoption
🐶 Repeated references to breeders “turning over” unsold puppies to rescue

When dogs are sourced from high-volume commercial breeders, commonly referred to as puppy mills, should they be considered rescue dogs ❓

Or is a rescue dog one that is saved from a shelter, surrendered by an owner, or removed from neglectful or cruel living conditions 🏠❤️

This distinction matters.
Language shapes public understanding, donor trust, and consumer decision-making.

Thoughtful discussion and transparency in animal welfare benefit everyone, especially the animals 🐾

URGENT! I still need adopters for these Skid Row survivor puppies! These puppies were rescued by us when they were born on Skid Row. One was even found in a trash can! They go to the vet this Saturday for a check up and vaccines and I need separate homes for each in the Los Angeles area starting Saturday! Please fill out an app at @startswithonetoday!

LOVE N HIP HOP by HAKIM GREEN produced by BIG FRENCH video 🎥 by NYCEFLIX. This is one of my favorite videos I’ve made. In this new age the YOUNGINS have taken over and have thrown the rules out the window. I hope someone tells them they are the victims of a psychological operation that has lead them to CHAOS AND CONFUSION. That said, LET’S HAVE SOME FUN! #lovenhiphop #loveandhiphop #bars #lyricsmatter #beatsandrhymes #hakimgreen
