Hey theatergoers! It’s officially spring, and with the new season comes new plays! This week has not one, not two, but THREE new works opening PLUS two that opened previously, making this a real high-point on the calendar in terms of opportunities to be the first to see the next big thing.

🎟 Free / Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) applies to all performances of shows marked as such, except:

- “For the Love of Dance!” at BalletMet: PWYW only Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27.

miss meg march 💌

where do i even start?
as a little girl with older sisters and an obsession with period pieces, i adored little women. when i transferred to osu and found out i had the opportunity to actually be in the show, i was elated. when i was cast (thank you emma ily), i was so nervous because i had never been the oldest sibling, always the amy of the family. however, as time went on, i found more of myself in meg than i could’ve ever known i would. not only did i find myself, i found dear friends (kindred spirits, if you will). while i ADORE little women, the people are what made this show so magical. OTL has brought me friendships and memories that i prayed for, people that i will hold dear for the rest of my life. even if it took three years to finally find a place to call home in college, i think it was worth the wait. to everyone who came, thank you. i’m so glad we could share our little story with you ❤️

however long you may live, i can never wish you a greater happiness than this 💌

What’s up, theatergoers! Lots of musicals this week! Overall, it’s a quieter moment quantity-wise before the tidal wave of spring theater crashes down, but don’t think that there isn’t a lot going on this weekend!

Hey theatergoers! It’s a big week in theater! We’re kicking off one of my favorite times of year: high school spring musical season. I could (and have) gone on and on about the power of high school musicals, but in brief: They’re the backbone of theater in America, and some of the best nights of theater I’ve ever had were spent at high school shows. They’re inevitably ambitious, heartfelt, have a can-do attitude that a lot of professional shows could take notes from, and most importantly, are always a great night out with a great story.
