$700K for 10%. A $7M valuation. And one of the Sharks completely lost the plot.

Meet Off The Wall, the Arab world’s first hologram advertising company already working with Lacoste and the UN, winning global awards, and pulling $200K revenue last year with a 65% net profit margin.

Yes, 65%.

They even design and manufacture their own hardware in-house, a massive competitive edge in a space with very few global players.

Their Business Model:

Renting large-scale holographic stages for events & product launches

Developing permanent installations in high-traffic malls with one mall projected to generate $1M/year alone

The Ask:

$700K to scale operations, marketing, and mall deployments.

Is the valuation steep? Maybe.
Is it unreasonable for a high-margin, IP-heavy immersive tech startup? Not really.
Holography + hardware + creative services = high barriers to entry → premium early valuations.

Where It Went Wrong

Instead of digging into:

unit economics

hardware costs

client retention

enterprise sales cycles

how they landed the UN & Lacoste

…one Shark hit them with:
“You either think we’re idiots, or you’re an idiot.”

That wasn’t analysis.
That wasn’t due diligence.
It was disrespect.

No curiosity.
No constructive feedback.
Just ego.

And coming from someone with no visible operating track record (and publicly fired from his last major leadership role), the irony is loud.

This doesn’t elevate Lebanese entrepreneurship.
It undermines it.

The Other Sharks?

Professional.
Respectful.
Even though they passed (the valuation was high for current scale), several said they’d hire Off The Wall for their own events a quiet but real vote of confidence.

BOTTOM LINE

Off The Wall is a rare, export-ready Lebanese tech creative startup with global credibility.

It may not be a $7M company today…
but it absolutely could be, with the right funding and patient partners.

Founders like this deserve rigorous due diligence, not personal attacks.
If you can’t ask hard questions without insulting someone, you don’t belong in the tank.

🇱🇧 Lebanon’s innovators deserve better..

We had the honor of welcoming the Italian Ambassador Fabrizio Marcelli, to Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club, where he met with the TEC team and members of our entrepreneurial community across various industries, such as agri-food, creative, and ICT.

During the visit, local entrepreneurs showcased their products and shared their journeys, shedding light on both the challenges they face and the immense potential Tripoli holds for building thriving businesses.

We also accompanied the ambassador to visit WinnerForce, one of Tripoli’s standout success stories, where he met founder Mohammed Harfouch and toured the production facility.

The Ambassador expressed great interest in the factory’s capabilities and Tripoli’s untapped economic potential.
We look forward to this being the first step in a meaningful collaboration between TEC and the Italian Embassy, opening doors to future joint initiatives that support Tripoli’s entrepreneurs.

We carried the cedar of Lebanon and put it in the heart of The Lebanese Pavilion at Viva Technology 2025- Paris, France - event by @publicisgroupe

We designed the pavilion to revolve around our beloved flag with a lively hologram in the center and merged a puzzle and a neuron to light up the ceiling
