Come along for the ride to watch how we made The Paper Bonfire, commissioned by @ofw_artfest !

We do so many fun projects but this one was a real test to our skills and imaginations and everyone on our team brought integral ideas and contributions and it came out better than I imagined—which is rare in the life of an artist.

We used so much @cartefinicrepepaper and @modpodgecrafts to make this magic happen along with a whole bunch of upcycled packing materials to make these hella realistic paper mache rocks!

And extra thanks to my awesome husband for cutting the wooden base using scrap wood leftovers from @ingersollbflo that he rescued from heading to the landfill.

Huge thanks to @sheidingerphoto for being the force behind the OFW Arts Festival and creating such an amazing opportunity for local artists to get paid for our art, year after year.

So glad that The Paper Bonfire will have a permanent home in the OFW and the community can continue to sit around the fire and share stories into the future. ❤️🔥❤️

Just a humble matchbox? We were blown away by the little keepsakes made at yesterday’s @ofw_artfest in Buffalo. These empty boxes make a great #keepsake or #shrine to contain wishes, memories, affirmations, or tributes. Thank you to all who stopped by to craft a box as you took in a perfect fall day of music, arts and cultural installations at The Old First Ward Arts & Cultural Festival. Thank you @ofw_artfest for having us.

A big thanks to @ofw_artfest for having us this year! 🥹❤️ I’m truly grateful to have been part of such a wonderful experience. Seeing the kids smile and enjoy themselves honestly made my day and reminded me why moments like these mean so much. 🥰 Thank you for having us! ❤️✨

Rooted in our neighborhood. ❤️

The Old First Ward is where our founder, Chris Kameck, grew up, and it’s a neighborhood that means so much to both of us. Tomorrow’s Old First Ward Arts & Heritage Festival is a chance to celebrate those roots and bring people together through art.

A special thank-you to Assemblyman Patrick Burke for helping bring this celebration to life and for being such a wonderful partner to Art Resource and TENfold Gallery!

Stop by tomorrow for FREE art making with the artist-run organizations currently featured in our Connector Gallery:

🎨 2–4 PM: Relief printmaking with Mirabo Press
✨ 4–6 PM: Button-making and coloring with Eat Off Art

Meet the artists, see what’s on view, and make something of your own. We’d love to see you in our neighborhood!

Ever since Paddy has been out with a hand injury we’ve been finding it really difficult to get along with our fill in bassist, Nate Kalnitz. Come see how it’s going this weekend. 😘😍❤️🤷‍♂️
