Empowered women empower women. And women in power statistically, historically, currently overwhelmingly choose community good over individual gain. Humboldt is on to this. ❤️

It's not often you get the chance to meet royalty, but I got the opportunity to meet Olivia, the official 2025 Rutabaga Queen for the annual Kinetic Grand Championship race in Humboldt County!

As a Grand Poobah, I immediately knew it was important to mark the occasion & she was thankfully able to take a few minutes out of her day for some pictures 🙂👑👑

We have a new Rutabaga Queen, Lucy Lips 💋 what a truly fabulous bunch of Rutabaga Princesses, too - Teacher Yavanna, Kimberly Kindness, Nikki Locs, & Don Flex. Love this sweet, weird, wholesome, playful thing I get to be a part of 🤩
