🔺 @georgios__apostolopoulos Opens @uglyrolls_gr to the Streets of #glyfafa🔻 Conceived as a #small urban interface where preparation, service and movement converge at the threshold of the building, the store’s compact footprint becomes the basis for a direct relationship with the street, giving a modest shopfront a clear and recognisable presence within the streetscape. A metal-framed glazed #facade, marked by a striped awning, establishes the #shop’s identity, while two vertically opening service windows extend the counter towards the public realm. Through these openings, coffee and cinnamon rolls are served directly to passers-by, creating an informal connection between the #interior and the life of the street. Nature is number one to us. For over 30 years, our work at Manousakis Winery has been rooted in the belief that wine begins long before the cellar — in the soil, the vines, the seasons, and, above all, our relationship with the land. In Greece, August 15th, Dekapentavgoustos, is a day of devotion, gratitude, and celebration. It is a moment when the sacred and the everyday meet — when people gather around churches, villages, family tables, and rituals that have connected generations to one another and to the land. That feeling is at the heart of our new labels. Each one, hand-drawn by Alexandra Manousakis, is part of a larger story told through three chapters: Tamata, Transmutation, and Enlightenment — three stages in our relationship with nature and with wine. TAMATA — The Vine as Offering An offering made. Placed into the quiet earth. Returns it as grapes. TRANSMUTATION — The Becoming of Wine and of Ourselves We heal what feeds us. Soil becomes a living vow. Yield without taking. ENLIGHTENMENT — Nature as Saint Abundance returns. When land is treated as kin. Light pours into roots. These ideas are not simply expressed on the bottles — they are lived in our vineyards. For over three decades, we have worked to farm in harmony with the land. Today, our vineyards are certified Regenerative Organic, with a focus on restoring soil health, encouraging biodiversity, protecting the living systems beneath our feet, and working with natural cycles rather than against them. For us, regenerative agriculture is not a trend or a technique. It is a way of belonging to a place. And perhaps there is no more fitting day than today to speak about nature as saint — about offering, renewal, transformation, and the profound gratitude we feel for the land that gives us everything. The new labels are a visual expression of that belief: the rituals of planting and harvesting, the transformation of fruit into wine, and ultimately the relationship between people and the land that sustains us. New vintages. New labels. Same soul. Rolling out gradually with the new vintages. Χρόνια Πολλά.

Film grain comes from silver halide crystals suspended in the film emulsion. When light hits the film, it activates these microscopic crystals and through chemistry, they are transformed into metallic silver. This organic, irregular texture is what we perceive as grain, the physical trace of light. This is Raito, Visualised and developed by @ogustathens team

HARDCLO SS26 | ATTIC LIGHT A Greek calendar that does not count days, but returns. It gives birth to memories and recollections from the roof finials that slice the sky, to Jean Cocteau who looked at Greece as a revelation rather than a landscape. From the sun of Pikionis, the one that does not illuminate but teaches, to the glossary of Elytis, where every word is a ray of light. A light that never stands still; it turns like a compass searching for direction, etching time onto white, onto dust, onto memory. Attic Light is not an aesthetic it is a stance. A way of seeing the world with clarity, of remembering without nostalgia, and moving forward without forgetting. A unique calendar, written not with dates, but with shadows, words, and silences.
