Huge thanks to all who came down to the launch of SHRINE last night, I was genuinely overwhelmed by the turnout 🙏

This latest release would not have been made possible if it were not for @camellia_sinensis_records , Shane's support was unwavering throughout the process right up to and including the launch. Very much looking forward to the future of Ethel and Camellia

A huge thanks to @thewatchtower_mchughs for hosting the launch, wouldn't have had it any other way than in the town I love so well

Thanks so much to @palelegs and @fannysplitmcgee for support on the night, these artists are outstanding, can't wait to see them live again

Last but by no means least, a sincere thanks to the Ethel Live Ensemble members @noh8cre8 aka Gene Carolan and @ogyc , the Ethel live project would not be possible without ye

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for another wonderful Fireside Session at Toales last night.

We were delighted to welcome Daniel Gnatali from Rio de Janeiro, who opened the evening with a beautiful selection of songs in Portuguese that we all thoroughly enjoyed. @danielgnatali

He was followed by local talent Tadhg Hilliard, who treated us to a set of soft, melodic originals along with some much-loved covers. @tadhghilliardmusic

Closing the night was our headline act, the exceptionally talented Seán McCluskey on guitar and vocals, accompanied by Ógy Collins on keyboard. Together they formed a tight and captivating combo, showcasing brilliant original material and bringing the evening to a fantastic close. @ogyc @sean_mc_cluskey

All three performances were outstanding, and we encourage everyone to keep an eye out for these artists in the future. We’re certain we’ll be seeing them back at Toales again.

Thank you all for continuing to keep the fire lit by supporting both local and international musicians who perform here at Toales. Your support helps make nights like these possible.

We’ll see you over the weekend for more amazing live music and great acts. 🎶🔥🍻

Toales continues its Thursday night acoustic series on May 28 as Seán McCluskey takes the stage at Fireside Sessions alongside Ógy Collins and support Tadhg Hilliard, with free admission from 9PM.

Lauded for his inventive phrasing and melodic instinct, McCluskey’s performances are full of narrative energy and improvisational sparkle, bringing a restless, engaging edge to the intimate Fireside Sessions setting. He’s joined on the night by Ógy Collins

Opening the evening is Tadhg Hilliard, adding further depth to a line-up built around stripped-back performances and close connection — the kind of atmosphere the Thursday series has become known for inside Toales.

With no cover charge and original music at its core, Fireside Sessions continues to offer one of Dundalk’s most dependable midweek live music night #livemusic #firesidesessions #livemusicvenue #acoustic #dundalk
