Why RUBBERNECK?

I've been a huge fan of Aaron's work for years and was fortunate enough to have him feature on my album SIGNS. His creativity and approach to music have always stood out to me, so when I heard he was launching a new project, I knew it was something worth paying attention to.

RUBBERNECK is Aaron's latest band, and for this show, they're a complete wildcard. We know the talent involved, but exactly what they'll bring to the stage remains to be seen—and that's what makes it so exciting.

Sometimes the most memorable moments come from the unexpected, and I have a feeling RUBBERNECK might just be one of them.

The Counter Deli, Letterkenny
LSN-DGL-S06
Certified Listening Space

Some spaces just get it from the very beginning.

The Counter Deli didn’t wait to be asked twice. Back around St. Patrick’s Day, when the Donegal edition of the Irish Coffee House Sessions was taking shape, they stepped forward immediately — embracing curated playlists of Donegal artists and recognising the power of music to shape a space.

That instinct matters.

Now, as the first café in Letterkenny to become a Certified Listening Space, The Counter Deli are building on something they already understood — that what we hear in a space changes how we feel in it.

Known for its attention to quality, its sense of ease, and its loyal community, the café now intentionally weaves Donegal-made music into its daily rhythm — ensuring that local music is not just played, but heard locally, in the places where life naturally happens.

A simple idea, done with care: local music, valued in its own place.
