STOP SKIPPING YOUR WARM UP PRIOR TO STRENGTH TRAINING ‼️

Your warm ups are the most vital part of your fitness journey. I’m talking injury prevention (prehab) the shit you do before you actually get hurt, it makes your body more durable. If you’re getting it’s because you’re not taking care of your body.

Mobility flow ➡️ Muscle Activation ➡️ Movement Prep

That’s my order of operations, I see a lot people walk into the gym and do movement prep only and call it a warm up 🤦🏿‍♂️ then wonder why you’re hurt all the time.

My favorite metaphor to use with my clients is when you first jump into a pool and the water is freezing and then your body gets accustomed to the temperature. Imagine jumping in and the water being just right 🤷🏾‍♂️

If you’re interested in coaching and training the correct way. I offer virtual coaching as well if you can’t make it to me in person. Click the link in my bio and join HTC Team Programming.

Train with me from anywhere 🙏🏾

If you change your workout every week, don’t expect numbers like this. We increased +40 lb on her 1RM squat. Practicing progressive overload on a week to week basis. We followed structured programming, no random shit!

If you want results like this lock in with me @hometowntrainingclub 🙏🏾

The trip came… and these are the results. Over 20 lbs of fat gone. Summertime fine in another country for a bachelorette trip celebrating her best friend’s birthday 🌍✨

This is what happens when you lock in before the trip, not panic two weeks out. Summertime fine and it’s not even summer anymore.

I’m still accepting new clients heading into the New Year.

Nobody told me how hard having a Christmas baby was going to be 😂 I almost forgot about his birthday trying to take care of all the Christmas things BUT we got it done! All of the boys had a great day celebrating Christmas AND Isaiah’s birthday today. My little baby is officially ONE YEAR OLD today!!! Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to the baby of the bunch!! Next year I think a new Long family tradition is in order #christmasbaby #capricornbaby #tistheseason #christmas2024 #firstbirthday #smashcakesession #familyovereverything #boymom #longboys #littleking #experiencesoverthings

Ya’ll! Send help! Me and AJ are NOT ok! We don’t know what to do with Trey starting his first day of school without us! Daddy has his outfit ironed and laid out for today! Big Bro said it passed the cool check! Trey was BIG excited from the time he woke up and didn’t even CARE that I was leaving 😫😫😫😫 didn’t even turn around!!! Sat by his little friend and must have forgot that I HAVE BEEN HIS BEST FRIEND SINCE 2019!!! I’m not crying… YOU’RE CRYING …It’s cool though, AJ is still my bestie and Isaiah is unbothered 🤣 #treyday #firstdayofschool #kindergarden #ootd #coolkids #boymom #inmyfeelings #wheredidthetimego

Getting stuck here for a longer time was something I had never expected. But these last couple of months have been some of the best memories I have made in a really long time. I thank everyone I have interacted with for that! You guys made a shitty situation not as shitty❤️
