i’m so slow at post-event recaps when it’s just my own stuff but i have NO EXCUSE now bc i gotta be a good programming lead and director so hopefully you’ll see more 🔜 this isn’t even CLOSE to all the footage or pics but im gonna write out my sappy thoughts here anyways since i’m already at it

truly a labor of love and an honor to be part of @sacanimeliveofficial summer as the dance programming lead. i taught a workshop, i produced my VERY FIRST SHOWCASE (!!!), i backup danced for the best idol @helloimmii ✨ working live events isn’t necessarily new but doing it in this capacity was crazy and a huge learning experience

i’m so thankful for all the support i got from my community — my @homeground.dance girls for showing up all summer for rehearsals and being my emotional support thru it all, my social team @kaja.kpopevents @charlvenes @lumiyyu @wakey.jakey @abdullah_mamoodie for still following me on my silly projects and creating wonderful stuff and keeping my brain in check, @djcazuofficial for holding my hand thru so much of the logistics and my anxiety of doing this for the first time, @lianamieow for stage managing, @shopmoondew for vouching for me to begin with, and ALL OF THE SHOWCASE TEAMS for trusting me so much even when i ran into so many live hiccups and then showing tf OUT on stage

and thank you to my mom @mrs_mier725 for being my number 1 supporter when i got overwhelmed and cried the nights before sacanime 🤪 i love you i wouldn’t be here without you

DAY 18
When You Call My Name

------------

Another Marjie feature!! If you read my previous post, you know this era was when Marjie and I really dove in together. Seeing ASTRO perform this b-side in their sleepy pajama looks and cute hairstyles lmao we wanted to make a cover project of our own. The pajamas we are wearing in this, Marj had ordered for us back in 2020 when we first discussed doing this dance. That project never came to fruition but we took the opportunity now to make a fun tiny version in my kitchen instead. :3

DAY 14
Merry-Go-Round

---------------

SPECIAL GUEST ALERT LOL. Marj and I decided to throw on our matching ASTRO jammies and some animal ears? (They dressed like animals while performing this at a concert 😭 I swear) 🧡❤️
