Journal Entry 18.

May 2026.

Every time May comes along it's like I can smell summer, I start to get anxious about June and what it represents. May I or May I not?

I've heard how good looking I am with a smile on my face but that scowl? Hmm, I might be onto something with such a mean mug.

Jinmi stopped by to visit me, I think I should return the favor at least once and go to where he is as well. I'll think about the logistics of it later. I tried some new drinks and gave my reviews, one was good and the other was nasty.

There's an Airtel router I no longer use because it's horrible in my area and I need to sell it off but I haven't been able to. Please, someone should help me get it off my hands.

I went for an x-ray and the clothing I was supposed to change into almost made me pass out from the smell. Is common hygiene now a myth? I'm sure that thing hasn't seen water or soap since someone passed away in it.

I went for gtco and tried a lot of food as usual, hung out with friends. Eniola and his brother with another "Sallah pictures" banger 😂 they're such a cool family.
Oh what a joy it is to experience home away from home.

Thank God for good friends.

@pexels.africa called for Ilorin Pexels Meetup: Contemporary Eid Meetup.

It was a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and community: one I will remember for a long time. ✨
Shout out to @themimibello_ and @fera.gram for bringing it all together. ❤️

If you spot yourself an Awelewa in the slides, you owe me a comment.😂👀

@themimibello_ hosted a Pexels photography hangout in the hills and it was the perfect opportunity for me to step out and touch grass. To be honest, I was more interested in socializing than shooting but I couldn’t fight the temptation. I really love the grade on these images(these are not my even my favorite 🙈)
As for the last slide, @beloved.thegr8 and @ayo0luwax have nothing on me🧍🏽‍♂️

It was really nice meeting new people and getting to exchange ideas, beautiful way to start the month!
Big shoutout to @pexels.africa for this opportunity. And special shoutout to @fera.gram 🫵🏽❤️
