I had a great time speaking yesterday at the @ohba_htx conference! Unfortunately, by the time I got home my sciatica was flaring up like an axe buried in my spine. I have a chiropractor appointment at 9am tomorrow. She’s mad at me for interpreting her directions to go home, take it easy, and rest to include giving a high energy presentation to 200 people. Medicine Men make the work patients.
Anyway, I learned my lesson and am going to chill for at least a week.

Kids Summer Series

Our “Plant Tiny Seeds” Summer Kids Series kicked off today….and it’s was perfect.

Also a beautiful reminder
Teaching kids to plant & garden is as important as teaching them how to swim! It gives them time to be active and experience nature. It can also be a great tool to teach valuable life lessons.

“To plant in a garden…is to believe in tomorrow.”

We are MORE than a plant shop. We are commUNITY. And now more than ever we need our community.

Yesterday babies lost their lives. Babies were murdered from an EVIL act. Babies that are the age of my twin little boys Kai & Kael. Babies that might be the age of your children, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother, sister etc.

So I am checking in on you. I’m checking in on the mothers, fathers, teachers, aunts, uncles, grandparents…I’m checking in our commUNITY. Because I know we are not ok. We all woke with heavy hearts. I know even though we must “carry on” we are not ok. I’m not ok.

This happening just 10 days after a racially motivated terriost attack on black people at a grocery store. To not knowing if our Children are safe in school. We are all beyond mental exhaustion. We each carry our pain in different ways. And which ever way you carry yours//we want you to know. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU. We are here for our community.

Our plant shops have been called an oasis. A space filled when love & light. A opportunity to spread joy. We want to invite you to our oasis. And not to shop. But to breathe a little easier. To pause for a moment. Chat with us share your thoughts all while experiencing some PLANT THERAPY. Please do not feel obligated to shop. But if you just need a release a space to breathe a little lighter…LET US BE THIS FOR YOU.
