POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It is a very, very bittersweet announcement to share that after the 2026 season, I’ll officially be retiring from wedding photography. 🤍

For the past 13 years, photography has been such a big and beautiful part of my life. This business has given me a front-row seat to some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives, along with memories, friendships, and countless moments I’ll carry with me forever. Saying goodbye feels like saying goodbye to a piece of who I’ve been for so long.

And then I became mom. Watching my two babies grow far too quickly has changed the way I see everything. I’ve become more aware of how fleeting these seasons are and how badly I want to slow down and soak up more of my own little world. My boys have changed so much about me, including the things I feel called to create.

I’m not saying goodbye to photography entirely.. I’ll always find my way back to families, motherhood, the beauty in everyday moments, and the stories worth remembering. I’m just letting my creativity take a different shape.

That brings me to @wonderandworn 🧸 What started as an opportunity that fell into my lap has become a new adventure I never saw coming: taking over an existing children’s boutique and making it my own. It’s been exciting, overwhelming, a little crazy, and full of “what the heck was I thinking?!” moments - but building something rooted in childhood and all the little things I love feels like such a natural next chapter.

To every couple, family, and person who has trusted me and cheered me on over these past 13 years - thank you. You’ve been part of something that has meant so unbelievably much to me.

My heart is full, a little heavy, and so excited for what’s next. Here’s to telling the final few love stories, unexpected opportunities, and having the courage to follow your heart into a new season. 🤍

You shouldn’t be thinking about who is setting up your decor ( or who is tearing it down.) You shouldn’t be thinking about if your rented chairs were delivered and set up correctly, or if the flowers from yesterday’s ceremony at the venue are picked up… No that’s not what you are thinking about during your first look. You leave that to us, you enjoy. 😘

Want this kind of bliss on your wedding day, get in touch and let’s start planning!

The fall colors are starting to show around Grand Rapids, and it feels like time to say goodbye to summer. Sunlight through the trees, dinner on the patio after a day on the water.

It was a wonderful season at the MidMod, and we can’t wait for more lazy lake days next summer.

Floor to ceiling glass facing the water. Warm wood paneling from 1955. Iconic mid-century modern architectural details all around you. 30 acres of forest and a quiet lake give you room to breathe. Sleeps 8 (or 14 if you add on the Finnish log cabin), so you can bring your people, not a guest list. This house was built for gathering, not rushing. DM us for details.
