Day 218 - “Ramblin’ Rose”.

My mother in law @ohiocooper was recalling a story today about how her grandfather had a player piano and how they’d pump the piano and it’d play old war time songs. She started singing this one, and I realized it was in my Daily Ukulele. Here’s our casual little duet with my hubby’s “deck” joke introduction.

Well… here it is! Set up, strung and ready to go! I wanted to share the full beauty of the amazing wood burning my Mother-in-Law did on this @ohanaukuleles DIY concert sized pineapple ukulele. It plays beautifully too. Thanks to @alohacityukes for fast shipping and a great price! #ohanadiy #woodburning #woodburningart #woodburned #ukuleleart #ohanameansfamily #ohanameansfamilyandfamilymeansnobodygetsleftbehindorforgotten #pinappleukulele

We arrived home to Ohio (our 2nd home) and I got to open my birthday present early. My mother-in-law @ohiocooper wood burned an @ohanaukuleles diy pineapple concert ukulele for me. Since I love both frogs and orchids, she used both as inspiration for the amazing artwork she burned on both the front and back! 😍. Stay tuned for the fully finished project when I assemble it here so I can get playing! #ohanadiy #ohanadiyukulele #ohanapinapple #ohanadiyukulelekit #woodburnedukuleles #woodburnedukulele #customukulele #oneofakind #ukulelebirthday

Day 33 of 366 - “I’ve got you babe”, new toque courtesy of @ohiocooper 🥰. This song will forever be for me a great Scene from @kimsconvenience @cbcgem . If you are a fan of schitt’s creek, check out Kim’s convenience… equally hilarious and masterful show. #ukulele #dailypractice #learningukulele #perseverance #practicemakesperfect #halleonard #magicflukeukulele #magicflukeukulele #magicflea #dailyukulele

I’ve said this many times before and it still holds true. Your grown children blow into town destroying all semblance of the order you had in your life. But when they leave taking the chaos with them, the house is so deafeningly quiet. Miss you and love you so much! @glutenfreefarts @fistfulloftickets 😘😘😘 #grownchildren #tooquiet #family❤️ #thankyou❤️
