I don’t travel much but last week, I answered the call of Bangkok - for the first time. She was … everything and more. But she was most powerful as a reminder that people make the place. My love and thanks to everyone in these slides for sharing your beautifully distinct views of the city with me. And @germainewoon_ , @jxnell and @thefoundryasia , a lifetime supply of roses and Palomas. You’re more important than any airport or airline 🌹🌹

Nam jim jaew in an old fashioned was always going to divide people, and in true Funkytown fashion we went ahead with it anyway.

Wild Turkey bourbon and coconut sugar for a spirit-forward base, roasted rice for a toasty edge, and a tamarind fish sauce caramel carrying the tangy savoury hit. Jaew Old Fashioned. Funk level 5, the deep end of our seasonal menu.

No bad days with a slushy in hand.

Here’s Agua de Cola, available with or without alcohol, and served in the cups that always cause a scene. Pair with whatever @caritos.bkk is sending down from upstairs and you've got yourself an evening.

260 THB by the glass, 880 THB by the jug.
