These videos are all from Saturday October 3rd. Because of the wonderful volunteers we had, I was able to sneak away from the check in desk and sit upstairs. I still could not fit all of what I had. And I had some great comedic gold from @soriasteven 😂

From our 10 am screening BLOCK C to the Q&A’s to our panel moderated by @mannystreetz (who I worked with…8 years ago on a lifetime movie called The Devil in I.T., twas a reunion) to BLOCK D at 2:30 pm there was soooooo much knowledge brought about by the amazing questions @ashtagswaggg and @iscoatknee had for the filmmakers.

I wish I was able to get BLOCK A and B 😭 but there was a lot of work on the first day. Next year I’m gonna really try to have videos of everyone. 😤 Thank you @anhandoff @elino.benjamin @addomantay @_james_macapagal @nativi_rad for your hard work!!

Really inspired by this morning at the Filipino American (FilAm) Film Festival @facfilmfestival! There’s something special about being surrounded by Filipino directors, producers, actors, and creatives who are chasing the dream and shining a light on the incredible culture and talent we have.

Huge props to Charles Gray @charlesjgray for leading the festival this year and creating a space for Filipino filmmakers and storytellers to connect, share our work, and celebrate our community.

There’s still one more day of programming (Sunday, October 4) - go check it out!

Come catch the first irl screening of our multi award winning (😳) music video this Friday Oct 2nd at the FILAM Creative Film Festival! @filamcreative @facfilmfestival

Also featured in the festival will be our beloved Steven A. Soria who returns with his first solo short in 10 years with the beautiful “The Unfortunate Side Effects Of A Crippling Want” which screens Saturday! What a dreamy double feature 🥰

The festival takes place this weekend Oct 2-4
At the awesome @luckmanarts at Cal State LA @calstatelatvfm

We’re big supporters of the short film community, film festivals are so much fun and often feature youngins building their craft and established directors trying proof-of-concepts and taking creative risks.. Very often at the peril of their own wallets, all for the love of the game 🎥 Festivals like @facfilmfestival are a gem for showcasing and giving a platform for Filipino-American talent coming up in the art.

Friday 10/2 - “Party’s On Its Way” screening
Block B - Center Stage, 3pm - 5pm

Saturday 10/3 - “Unfortunate Side Effects..”
Block C - A Vision, 10am - 1pm

Links to get tickets are in our bio 🎫
Thanks so much for all the love and support, means the world to us ✊❤️🫶
