I think we all look pretty amazing as cartoon characters. Shout out to the one and only @ohndaisy for her amazing artwork!

Anyways, tonight could have been our last show for @nuspentasbudaya . Instead of being backstage and preparing my casts for the show, I am now stuck in bed - typing this long caption out.

Planning for this show has taught me, above all else, that nothing can ever be certain. In fact, there wasn't even suppose to be a Creative Director for this year's show. Till today, I always joke with the rest about how different things would turn out have I not join their meeting after my MS law lesson. For some unexpected reason, I decided to be kaypoh in their meeting to have lunch. That was also the day when these girls decided to appoint me as the Creative Director for this show.
Jokes aside, I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. Although we are forced to cancel and postpone our show to next year, I am so glad this creative process has brought me closer to people that I have never expected to get close with. More importantly, I found myself a new family that I can depend on in school. People who stood by me in one of my toughest days. And I am super blessed to be able to work with each one of these girls. I can never ask for a better team.
Joining Pentas Budaya is undeniably one of the best thing that happened to me in Year 2.
The last couple of months have not been easy for me (and for all of us). Beyond COVID-19, people who know me will remember how devastated I was due to my anxiety issues and family problems. For those of you who have helped me, I cannot express how thankful I am for your support. I truly am.
At the end of the day, the health and safety of our loved ones matter more. Have faith and just let go. I am sure He knows best. I am looking forward to hearing more amazing things from Pentas next year.

Signing out,
CD of Pentas 19/20❤️
