Celebrating you, Matt 🤍

I still remember the morning you were born. What a gift it has been to have you as my nephew… and to watch you grow from that hyper, skinny, adventurous little boy into the incredible man you are today.

I’m so proud of you. I’ve watched you work hard for everything you have—nothing has come easy—and yet you’ve continued to rise to the challenge every step of the way. You are a man of faith, integrity, and character… and you always strive to do what’s right. That says so much about who you are.

You are so gifted in what you do, especially with your knowledge and talent for building… but what I admire most is your heart.

I will always be grateful for the big brother you were to Doug. That means more to me than words can ever express. I know he’s watching over you, so proud of the man you’ve become and the work you’re doing at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills… the way you’re pouring into others and quietly building a legacy that will impact lives for years to come.

You are an incredible father, husband, and friend… and I just love your spirit for adventure and the outdoors. That’s always been a part of you.

I’m just so thankful for you, Matt… for who you are and the life you’re building.

Love you always,
Aunt Pam 🤍

Turbo. It’s National K9 Veterans Day! You may be retired but you’re still a Stud! You’re helping me change what people think about MALS and working dogs. You’re so kind to the kids you meet, shop keepers and anyone else your people tell you to be nice to. And you’ve inspired another generation of MWD handlers. Everyone says you should be a psychopath, in your defense it’s only 50% of the time. I look forward to life’s adventures with you and raising awareness of MWDs retiring them an how to do it safely 🇺🇸

❤️ February is Heart Health Month ❤️

February will always hold deep meaning for me.

When I look at this photo of Doug (my son) and Sam (my brother-in-law) together, it still stops me in my tracks. Realizing that neither of them is here anymore is something my heart continues to hold every day. Not a day goes by that they are not missed.

Doug died unexpectedly at age 37 due to a heart attack. Sam, age 56, passed away from complications following a heart attack. Their losses are a reminder of how important it is not to ignore symptoms, family history, or that quiet feeling that something may not be right.

This Friday, I’ll be wearing red in their memory—and in honor of all those who are living with heart disease, fighting quietly, or remembering someone they love.

If you feel led, I invite you to join me. Wear red, take a photo, and share the name of someone you’re honoring. You’re welcome to tag me so we can raise awareness and hold space together.

Know that you’re not alone. ❤️

With gratitude,
Pam

🌟 National Sons Day 🌟

Today I pause with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of motherhood. My son, Doug Bergman, now celebrates from heaven, yet the love, joy, and lessons I experienced in being his mom remain one of life’s greatest blessings. 💙

I’m also deeply thankful for my nephew, Matt Bergman. In so many ways, Matt has been like a son to me—standing faithfully by my side through some of life’s hardest seasons with love and unwavering support.

And to my bonus sons—Eric Swartz, Nick Swartz, and Scott Swartz—each of you has brought your own unique gifts into my life. I’m grateful for the blessing of all of you.

On this National Sons Day, I celebrate the joy, the love, and the incredible blessing of the sons—by birth, by family, and by grace—that God has placed in my life. ✨

A client once told me, “You’ll never get this time back.”
And it stuck with me.

Yesterday was one of those sweet reminders…
Time with family I hadn’t seen in a long while.
Moments around the table.
Laughter echoing.
And the sound of my grandsons playing music filling the room. 🎶

It reminded me to slow down… to be present… to remember what matters most.

Legacy isn’t about what we accumulate—
It’s about the love we leave behind,
The memories we create,
And the moments we never get back.

Today, I’m holding onto that reminder with a grateful heart. 💛

This Father’s Day, we pause to honor every person who’s loved with the strength, compassion, and quiet courage of a father.

To the stepdads, adoptive dads, grandfathers, spiritual dads, mamas carrying both roles, and our heavenly dads—your love echoes through generations. 💙

Happy Father’s Day from our hearts to yours.

Rescued just in the nick of time!

I discovered a Mama bird sitting on a nest at my clients mobile home located in Chino Hills. It is scheduled to get tented today. When I reached out to the tenting company they said they would not remove it. I reached out to my nephew, @ohthatmattyb who just happened to be working at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. He dropped everything he was doing to come rescue Mama & her babies. Just as I pulled up the termite company had just arrived and was getting started. We were able to rescue the babies and place them in a safe area so hopefully Mama will be able to find them. Prayers going up they are reunited.
