I have so much more to say (and post) about last weekend… and I WILL. But for now…

A huge thank you to every friend, new friend, vendor, and beautiful stranger who came out to celebrate the launch of @ohwhims . ❤️

We started Oh Whims because we wanted to create spaces that feel a little more, well, whimsical 😘

where you can put your phone down, express yourself, talk to someone you’ve never met, dance with a stranger, and actually be IN the moment.

But a huge part of being able to let go like that is feeling safe enough to do it. And especially now, women deserve spaces where we feel safe, protected, and free to just have FUN.

As women creating and running these events, that’s something we don’t just hope for, it’s something we demand of the spaces we create.
And watching all of that come to life around us last weekend was pretty damn special.

And on a very personal note… thank you for letting me siiiiing, baby!!! It’s been a LONG time, I was scared sh*tless, and I’m so glad I did it. Thank you for making that room feel safe enough for me to share that part of myself again. 🥹

I cannot wait for more of this. More nights, more strangers becoming friends, more weird little magical moments we get to create together.

P.S. Every girl in that last photo came into my life because @originalhale got us on the same dance floor at some point. And honestly, that’s kind of the whole point of Oh Whims.

Hours of crafting, ladders, laughing & love - truly shows what @ohwhims is all about.
