I started this journey as @hangukhapa to promote authentic Korean food and feel so grateful to have been able to host food events at my favourite Korean food spots and introduce New Malden: The Korea Town of London to the foodie world 🙌

The Korean Fried Chicken and Beer Bank Holiday special at @chickandbeers was a sell-out and EVERYONE was blown away by the authentic spiciness of K-fried chicken 🍗 none of that watered down fake Korean sauce!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that attended my 2nd Korean Food event at the best place for Korean Fried Chicken @chickandbeers 🐔🍺

I started this journey as @hangukhapa to promote authentic Korean food and feel so happy to be able to host food events at my favourite Korean food spots and introduce New Malden: The Korea Town of London 🙌

We didn't expect to reach full capacity (50+) as @chickandbeers didn't really have space but somehow we managed to all squeeze in and have a good time! Much love to the staff who worked so hard to get everyone's orders out and opened early exclusively just for our event ~ 정말 감사해요 ♡

for helping me organise and invite the British Chinese Society as we both know organising events can be hella stress 😅

In the past few years, many chimaek #치맥 (Korean fried chicken & beer) restaurants have opened around London - but in my opinion, they are missing the key ingredient: authentic KOREAN taste! 🍗🇰🇷

This is why I chose my 2nd Korean food event to be at @chickandbeers as they understand the true Korean taste of fried chicken and capture it perfectly in their crispy batter and sweet and spicy #양념 yangyeom sauce (yangnyeom sauce shouldn't be overly sweet nor overly salty)🌶

.
Eating their #반반 ban ban (half original half spicy) makes you feel as if you could be eating it in a Korean chimaek! 🇰🇷

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan! 🇵🇭- It was Filipino Independence Day yesterday! I celebrated with some friends by getting some Filipino street food at @turoturouk! It was so lovely. Over the last few years I’ve been recconecting with my Filipino heritage and getting involved in the community- and it has been very lovely 💛
