BELTANE // Bright one. Souls hold one hundred sorrows with a current just the same as my blood flows.
Aching bones and restless hearts that feel the weight of gratitude for the gifts.
The plum blush of dusk, the glass sheen of rain.
The meticulous detail in flurries of snowflakes cascading gently to the Earth below.
Luna, a rich pitter pattering drum on every rooftop, echoing through every window with her golden light.
We look up, up and up to the stars.
Waiting for death, that will lead us to the mapping of new constellations.
Together. Under one sky. The same sky.
We seek, grieve, love and give life.
You are forever my harvest, and I remain yours. A gracious welcome to Beltane, to the meeting of the feminine and masculine. To the rebalancing of the earth. To walking barefoot and standing in awe of her splendor. An offering of flowers, an offering of laughter, a prayer of gratitude for spring. 🌱
