In preparation for this weekend, we asked YOU what Pride means to you. Pride is absolutely a party, but it started as a protest - and checking in to hear what you think Pride is about is why we started Mile High Queer Club all those years ago.

The joy we celebrate today exists because generations before us fought for the right to live openly, love freely, and demand dignity. One of the most iconic voices in that fight was Marsha P. Johnson, a Black trans activist who became a symbol of the LGBTQ+ rights movement after the Stonewall uprising. Alongside countless other activists, she helped spark a movement that reminds us Pride has always been about visibility, resistance, and community.

As we head into tonight and this weekend, we wanted to take the time to spotlight you and your stories and your “WHY” to remind ourselves that the fight isn’t over, even though we can sell out Summit Music Hall. We love that you trust us to help throw such an event and we hope our partnership with YOU continues legacies like Marsha P. Johnson in building a stronger, safer, and more connected queer community here in Denver. Because Pride isn’t just something we attend, it’s something we create together.

SEE YOU TONIGHT!

Backwards 2nd half of the year recap? Don’t mind if I do

2 surgeries, Dayton not becoming a junior park ranger again in the Rockies but getting to experience CO snow,
2 cross country trips, Syd coming home, Lucy and Seb being Lucy and Seb, a cute little work trip across the pond, the best halloween, concerts, laughs, tears, and a whole bunch of love. Best year yet❤️
