✨ NEW to Artsolutely! A little piece of the Okanagan, wherever you go. 💛

Inspired by the colours, landscapes, lakes, and mountains of home, Anneke of Okanagan Blankets creates cozy, thoughtfully designed pieces that celebrate the beauty of the valley.

After a decade living in the UK, Anneke returned to Coldstream with her family in 2019 with a renewed appreciation for the place she grew up. In 2022, taking over Okanagan Blankets allowed her to reconnect with her community and share that love of the Okanagan through her work.

From blankets and scarves to bags, dog bandanas, and more, Anneke’s designs make it easy to take a little piece of the Okanagan with you.

✨ Find Anneke’s work at Artsolutely, November 28–December 24!

We went and saw all the dinosaurs in Drumheller!! 🦖🐈‍⬛🦕🐈

We walked along the bad lands and we stayed at a nice pet-friendly room and even watched Jurassic Park! We now know how to properly terrorize the house (dino-style) at the most convenient hours of the morning of course! Thank you @heartwoodinn for the lovely room. Highly recommend if you and your furry friends need a place to stay here!

We love our blankets from @okanagan_blankets
They come on every kitty adventure and are the perfect size! Perfect for the car-ride snoozes.

Blessed to be 40 ✨

I know my heart is healthy by the amount of surprises I received these last few weeks. Kelly arranging Selena and the boys to be here, Anneke to be here. All my beloved friends getting to be together for the first time ever! Singing together every night, receiving so much love. It’s taken a few days to process how special this time together has been.

Forever grateful to have such a beautiful and blessed life.

I welcome this next decade with open arms and so much love! Here is so my crone era, becoming an elder, an oracle and a safe space for people to land and to truly learn how to love themselves. Aging is a gift and I will embrace each and every part of the process.

Thank you for the birthday wishes and blessing.

May we all be filled with loving kindness
May we all be well
May we all be peaceful and at ease
May we all have the most beautiful and blessed year

From my heart to yours

All my relations

GRWM: 2026 Office Edition 💝🎉 Things I’m Saying No to this Year✨⬇️

✌🏻 Over-posting on social media just because the algorithm tells us to
✌🏻Jam-packing my calendar. I’m leaving intentional free time and stacking calls/meetings on specific days.
✌🏻Worrying what other people think about me (note the sweats and hoodie 😉)
✌🏻 Attending any meetings (that includes zoom calls) without an agenda and a specific purpose. I once heard a saying “No agenda, no attenda!” 😝
✌🏻 Keeping secrets. What you see is what you get with me and I’m happy to share if I think my classes/trainings will be of service to you.

What do I hope you hold onto in 2026? >>Enjoying the sense of peace and stillness that was cultivated over the holidays.

Much love for a joyful and intentional New Year! 🤎

🌿 Absolutely thrilled to announce that we now have @okanagan_blankets 🌿 I met her at the Make It Show in Vancouver a couple years ago, and I have been so impressed with my shawl I got from her, I had to share the excellent quality and warmth her shawls and blankets bring- and after 2 years with mine I can truly say I’m impressed-no pilling- and absolute must for cold days!

From the Maker:

Patterns Inspired by the beauty of the Okanagan Valley

The Okanagan Valley is a scenic and fertile region located in the southern interior of British Columbia. Nestled between the Columbia Mountains to the east and the Cascade Mountains to the west with its defining feature, Okanagan Lake running through its centre. Known for its diverse landscapes, mild climate, and vibrant communities, the valley stretches roughly 200 km from Enderby to Osoyoos.

We are blessed with many lakes carved out long ago by the glaciers that formed our valley. Our terrain varies from alpine forests in the north to arid sagebrush covered hills in the south. The Okanagan is also home to Canada’s only true dessert.

We’ve chosen colours and patterns inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Okanagan and each blanket has been thoughtfully named after scenic destinations that if you haven’t already visited you’ll be moved to visit too!

All our blankets are made right here in the sunny Okanagan Valley.
Our Quality

Blankets with balance. Containing 20% wool for temperature regulation, and 80% polyester to ensure wash ability. These blankets are sturdy enough to throw down on the beach, on the trail or on the snow.
Giving Back

1% of all sales will be used for charitable investment. Support for homelessness and addictions, food security and the environment.
