Had the absolute best spiel with Dan, Allmaker and Bliss this past weekend at the @kccurling BBQ bonspiel! Our team, The Homies (🤣 from Omaha @curlaksarben and Oklahoma @okcurling ) won the B Event finals! It was Dan and my first ever event win so that was fun to finally achieve 🙌 ☺️ thanks for hosting another fun spiel KC!

Very humbled and proud to get our first ever curls MACA arena playdowns game win. It may not seem like a lot to some but we've never won a game before (at national qualifier but we crush it at league🤣 ). We however keep showing up and try our hardest with a good attitude. It's been fun forming a team with incredible women with hearts of gold ♥️ Thanks for trusting me as your team leader. Excited to see us continue to grow and see how the rest of our weekend goes! 🥌‼️🥌‼️ Love you curls!

The Adaptive Sports Expo on May 7th was more than an event, it was a celebration of accessibility, joy, courage, and community. Every conversation, every smile, every person trying something new reminded us why this work matters so deeply.

To our amazing sponsors, vendors, adaptive athletes, families, and volunteers: THANK YOU! Your support created a space where people of all abilities were welcomed, encouraged, and empowered. The energy in the room was undeniable, and the impact will continue far beyond one evening.

Some of the feedback we received says it better than we ever could:
👉“We live an hour and a half away but had to come tonight! I also heard about Wheelie Club; I will make the drive because I know it will be worth it.”

👉“Every conversation we had tonight was meaningful. We loved it.”

👉“This event is so cool and fun. We were excited to be a part of it and come back next year.”

👉“We had tons of fun! We loved watching the different adaptive sports, listening to stories, and hanging with silly kids.”

👉“This event is so joyous. I love watching people come in and learn more about what Santa Fe does for all abilities.”

This expo reminded us that adaptive fitness and wellness are about so much more than recreation. They create confidence. They build belonging. They connect families. They open doors. They show every child, teen, and adult that they are capable, valued, and never alone.

Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us build a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We cannot wait to grow this event even bigger next year.
