OKELO HOWARD COULD BE THE NEXT MAN HEADING TO THE JUNGLE! 🔴⚫👀

@oneumbrellasportsandent understands that defender @okelohoward could follow head coach Marcel “Fuzzy” Gayle to Arnett Gardens FC for the 2026–27 JPL season.

Nothing has been signed or announced. This remains an unconfirmed report. However, if everything goes according to what we are hearing, Howard could soon be wearing the famous red and black inside the Jungle.

Born on August 15, 2002, the 23-year-old Jamaican is an energetic and versatile defender who operates mainly at right-back. Standing 1.80 metres tall, Howard combines defensive determination with the willingness to push forward and support the attack.

His journey includes Manning Cup football with Holy Trinity High School before establishing himself in the Jamaica Premier League with Portmore United.

One of Howard’s most memorable moments came in November 2023 when he scored in Portmore’s 2–0 victory over Mount Pleasant. He finished a Martin Davis assist in the 69th minute and emotionally dedicated the goal to his son. ⚽❤️

Howard also demonstrated his courage during a fiercely contested Portmore derby against Dunbeholden in February 2024. He suffered a facial wound following a serious foul and had to be transported to hospital.

After leaving Portmore United by mutual agreement in 2025, Howard joined Waterhouse FC, bringing strength, energy and competition to the right side. He also shared time there with Marcel Gayle, and that familiarity could make him an attractive option as Gayle shapes his new-look AGFC squad.

At only 23, Howard already possesses valuable JPL experience, physical strength, defensive courage and the ability to contribute going forward. A move to Arnett Gardens could help him take another major step in his promising career.

Again, nothing has been officially confirmed. One Umbrella is only reporting what we have heard.

And if you don’t believe the story, don’t blame me! My granny came to me in a dream and said the ants visited her grave and told her everything. If the transfer doesn’t happen, blame the ants that told my granny, not One Umbrella! 😂🐜👵🏾🪦⚽
