Yeah baby we’re back! We’re oozing across 3 blocks of Oak st, to bring you multiple dance floors and this dangerously enormous lineup of mostly human DJs. Music for every taste, very delicious 🤤

And we got a lot more than all-night disco-boogie for ya.
We got surprises. We got secrets. We got ART.

When in New Orleans, you got to make a stop at another amazing New Orleans Distillery. @oldalkerdistillery and pick up a bottle you’re missing from there selection. And the cherry on top is when Ms. @morgan.alker is working behind the bar.
Wish I could have stuck around longer but gotta get back to B.R. Thanks for the great pours and conversation.

While summer is the off-season for New Orleans events, here at Elysian, we use this time to find inspiration and make new connections—both at home and around the country. We have a lot of fun new offerings to bring to your events this season, starting just around the corner at Old Alker Distillery on Oak Street. Elysian Events is excited to announce that we will be carrying both their locally made Trumpet Gin and Bienville Platinum Rum. Old Alker Distillery even has a beautiful tasting room and offers tours of their distillery located at 8304 Oak Street! #ElysianEventsCatering #oldalkerdistillery #oakstreet

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted a review.

I figured on this first day of National Bourbon Month why not have a fresh crack on Louisiana’s own, @oldalkerdistillery -Small Batch. 100 proof

Nose- Baking Spice are the primary notes being picked up on. There is also Cinnamon and Vanilla notes that are also being picked up on.

Pallet- Warm slightly extra sweet Caramel up front, but fades a little too quickly for me.
Coming into the mid pallet the Baking Spices you get on the nose makes a huge comeback on the pallet and hold on much longer than that initial Caramel note up front.
The finish, Baking Spice hold on throughout the finish but a mild Vanilla sweetness comes in on the far back end and just stays with you.

Someone has to say it…

It takes little effort to FACT CHECK, y’all. I have tagged this account and let them know where the GUIDE IS INACCURATE… with ZERO RESPONSE.
.
I sent this in a DM and also commented on the ACTUAL POST.
.
After celebrating FIVE YEARS ON OAK last weekend, this is such a gut punch.
