“Never give a bureaucrat a chance to say no.” -Morton Blackwell

Thank you @theyouthleadershipschool for giving me the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue my dream. I am incredibly honored to receive the Yerger Scholarship and beyond grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an amazing event.

Throughout this weekend, I learned how to campaign, communicate effectively, and, most importantly, how to become a stronger leader. My favorite part of the experience was learning from incredible teachers and connecting with young leaders from across the nation who share the same passion for making a difference.

I left this program feeling inspired, motivated, and more excited than ever to pursue a future in public service and leadership. Thank you to everyone who made this opportunity possible. I am truly grateful for an unforgettable experience.

Hi everyone, my name is Chris Tonn Jr. I'm a part of the @studentsforlife NLC class of 2027. My fellowship is founders. I was also fortunate enough last month to lobby up on Capitol Hill to advocate for Congress to defund Planned Parenthood. I also contact my legislators on passing pro life legislation. I'm pro life because I believe it's biblical. The book of Matthew says let the little children come to me and do not hinder them and Jeremiah talks about how we were created by the Lord in our mother's womb. I'm very passionate not just about this issue but political and current events and I like being civically engaged. It was a gift from Christ to be so civically engaged at such a young age I've been involved with politics and government since I was 17 before I could even vote.
It would be an even greater honor if I get to do this for a career God willing.
