When I started my dunk journey, I thought I’d jump higher, get stronger and of course, dunk.

What I didn’t expect was to meet so many encouraging, positive and down to earth people from all walks of life.

Young, “experienced”, all over the US, Canada, Europe, New Zealand uniting over their shared passion and learning from people at the very top of the sport.

From the organizers, to the pros, and the campers, @thedunkcamp was filled with awesome people who created such an uplifting and welcoming environment!

Shoutout to Team 3, the 35+ athletes, and the Filipino dunkers! 🇵🇭

It’s my birthday today. And my mortality is hitting me at age 30.

This session was a couple of weeks ago on Friday.

Here are some standing vertical dunks after tweaking my knee.

I couldn’t really push off here, but the first part of the session was fire.

I swear I was yamming it about 30 minutes before this video

I really have to record these things since there are only so many dunk sessions left.

^ this is the reason why I’m glad I started this page in the first place.

The best dunks by David have never been caught on video. Game winning dunks. 360s in games. A lot of good memories of playing basketball from age 10 to age 30.

Well i wanted to dunk on 10ft on my birthday, wasn't quite there so i trained for a few weeks just to gain another inch 😆 . Got it today . Not the best as I was only touching just over 10'5" but I'll take it. Hopefully get up to 30+ inch vert in the next few months. Not the best video capture, my bad. It was off a dribble but I only caught the top half!

According to @jordankilganon , this dunk has never been done before, meaning I'm the first person to do it. I only did it because I figured there was more I could add to the Rise and Shine dunk, and I wasn't wrong.

Some of you may have seen this early, as I decided to submit it for the "any dunk goes" @thenationaldunkleague theme. It was between this and one other dunk I made on the same day, which you'll see soon enough.

I did want to thank @oldgregdunks since the only reason I tried the normal Rise and Shine in the first place was because I saw him do it in one of his videos. So I owe this new version to him!

If any of you are wondering where my rapid progression is coming from, I owe that to @jordankilganon and his @jumpmasterprogram . Even my worst jumping days feel like my old best. Consistency really does pay off.
