Last night’s opening for @badideasocialclub and @coopersvillebc Midnight Society Poster Show. My piece, “Don’t worry, everything is going to be a-okay.” The use of a positive up beat quote that could also be used to console someone before their imminent death. Didn’t take a ton of pictures, got too distracted catching up with friends and making new ones!! Had a great night with everyone and hope to do it again soon!! Show runs until November 8th!! If you are around cooperville go check it out!!! #art #poster #halloween #show #brewery

Street Markets 🛍️⤵️ Who doesn't love a good Street Market?! 📍@merchants.and.makers 📅 Saturday, October 6th - the last one with ArtPrize this year! I had the absolute joy of going up to Grand Rapids for ArtPrize last weekend and while there, I found that the Merchants & Makers Street Market was in full swing! 🍃 Over 160+ vendors 🍂 Live music throughout the streets 🍃 Food trucks and tents 🍂 Stunning art throughout the area 🍃 Relaxed atmosphere I had to restrain myself from buying too many things but I did get some beautiful leather work accessories, a puzzle, and some new pottery! It's truly an all day event with something for everyone. I'm looking forward to attending again! . [Grand Rapids Michigan Summers Fall Autumn Vendor Farmers Market Event Outdoors]

We have partnered with our friends at Coopersville Brewing Company to gather 13 of the coolest poster designers we could find to throw one hauntingly killer poster show we’re calling Midnight Society: A Poster Show. Maybe the coolest part, all 13 artists are working from the same brief and interpreting the direction based on their own horrors and experiences. Here’s the vibe: Midnight is when everything is still enough to hear the noise and the silence all at once. The day resets, but nothing resolves. Ideas creep in, doubt gets louder, anxiety vibrates, and the unknown shifts shapes. It sits out our chests mocking our decisions, our actions, and our thoughts. We either wait for it to pass, or we welcome the horror and let the darkness in. Midnight Society opens October 17. The party starts at 5pm at Coopersville Brewing Company in Coopersville, Michigan, and not only will the artists be there, CBC and head brewer Ryan Wasson (@feedtheryno) are releasing a brand new black IPA for the show also named “Midnight Society.” And heard a rumor about Chef Kyle Murray working up some elevated “midnight snacks.” #posterart #posterartist #artparty #westmichigan #artistlife

BUMBERSHOOTING: Heading up to Seattle's @Bumbershoot Friday morning! Gonna be setting up for two wild days as part of @Flatstock and the @posterinstitute! ⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️ Had a great romp last September and couldn't pass up another hang. Got the Gas Pig readied. One part hauling merch, one part hauling ass and six parts sleeping quarters. If you see sketchy orange van all steamed up in a dark corner of the @dicksdrivein parking lot, DO NOT APPROACH THE GAS PIG. Need my shut-eye. ⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡⚫️ Check out this banger roster of poster artists: 💥 Sherbet Punch / @sherbetpunchstudios 💥 Jayes Caitlin / @jayescaitlin 💥 Barry Blankenship / @barrytheartguy 💥 Francisco Ramirez/ / @bureauofprint 💥 Moonlight Speed @moonlightspeed 💥 De’Mone Davis / @demone.png 💥 Stephanie Ellis / @fieldsparrowstudio 💥 Lil Tuffy / @lil_tuffy 💥 Neal Williams / @epicproblemz 💥 Dan Stiles / @danstiles 💥 Powerslide Design Co. / @powerslidedesignco 💥 Factory 43 / @factory43design
