Can’t believe that it was just a week ago that I stood on stage with my fellow warriors, Morgan, Elizabeth and Kaye to co-host the LA Gala for the Center for Reproductive Rights. Not only did we raise over 1.5M (!!!) for Reproductive Freedoms, but we also got to celebrate the incredible plaintiffs, lawyers and staff who are on the front lines of the fight. At every turn lately, this country feels like a total trash fire, and our rights feel more and more tenuous, but nights like these remind me that there’s a future for our children-my daughters-worth fighting for. Thank you to the Center, our incredible emcees Casey & Danielle, my co-chairs, the entire host committee and all of my incredible friends and family who came out to fight the good fight 💚💚💚

What an amazing birthday! I’ve been saying all weekend that I feel like a phoenix that has risen from the ashes! My community has filled me with so much love and I feel eager to let that love reign onto this world like a raging wild fire.
Thank you to everyone who has sent me kind words this past week and to everyone who made it out to celebrate with me.

I convinced 40+ half-grown adults to fly across the world to celebrate my birthday. I’m deeply aware of how lucky, fortunate, and privileged I am to have experienced that.

Everyone showed up fully, wildly, unapologetically themselves. The most special, rewarding trip of my life.

That’s the only word that truly captures this trip.🇹🇭

We spent the last two weeks in Thailand celebrating Alan’s 40th birthday—and what an unforgettable adventure it was.

For those of you who may not know Alan well, one of the things that defines him most is his deep sense of community. It was clear in the 40+ friends and family who traveled across the world to celebrate this milestone with him.

Alan has built something incredibly special—a community that feels like family. A space where people look out for one another and where everyone can show up as their authentic selves, feeling safe, welcomed, and truly seen.

These two weeks were beautifully chaotic, but in between all the adventures we still found moments—big and small—to connect, share stories, and build new friendships. 🫂

A huge thank you to @alanm321 & @shanegrimes for bringing us all together, for planning such an amazing adventure, and for creating memories we’ll carry with us for a lifetime. 🥹

Sawadee, that’s my bestie! I cannot be prouder of @alanm321 for a lifetime of silliness, honesty, curiosity and community that led to a 45-person trip to Thailand for your 40th. From the best fire show I’ve ever seen to a hilarious #CounterfeitCouture villa party and our idioTsyncracies, there were so many special moments that reflect how special of a person you are to those around you.
