Thanks to Robin and Glenn Sonoda, Sellwood’s cutest cottage just got its dream screen door. The laser cut fern panels were purchased from the artist who made them years and years ago at a YGP show. We gleaned the hardware from several trips to our beloved @oldportland including that perfect hook. #tanglevinecottage #dontletthescreendoorhityouonthewayout #oldportlandhardware #sellwood #unhingedstyle

SELLWOOD MOVES FAST. Your agent should too.

Sellwood-Moreland continues to be one of those neighborhoods buyers watch closely—and it’s easy to understand why.

Historic homes sit alongside modern builds. Parks, river access and the Springwater Corridor are woven into everyday life. Independent shops, restaurants and cafés are just around the corner, yet the neighborhood still feels distinctly residential.

When the right home comes to market here, buyers may not have much time to learn the area, understand the property and decide whether it’s truly the right fit.

That’s why I preview new homes every week. I’m continually watching the SE Portland market, touring new inventory and paying attention to the details that don’t always come through in listing photos.

If Sellwood—or anywhere in Southeast Portland—is on your list, I’m here to help you stay informed, move confidently and recognize the right opportunity when it arrives.

The electrician is waiting on my lighting selection to finish rough electrical. Which is holding up the next big inspection. Which is holding up insulation and sheer wall. So I need to finish picking out lights asap.

Give me all your best vintage, antique, and reproduction lighting sources! Transitional to very Victorian. I’m looking for unique pieces. I still need:

Primary bed fan
Upstairs bath flush
Upstairs bath sconce (2)
Library ceiling
Living ceiling
Living sconce (3)
Down bath flush
Pantry flush
Basement sconce (7)
Basement dining light
Wine room semi flush (2)

Sellwood-Moreland is the twin neighborhood that just sticks with you. You can wander Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, catch a movie at a historic theater, ride a roller coaster at Oaks Amusement Park, and still be downtown in 15 minutes. We won’t blame you if you never want to leave.

Visited Old Portland Hardware & Architectural recently and could have spent hours exploring every corner ✨

There’s something so special about vintage hardware and architectural pieces that carry so much history and character. From beautifully aged knobs and handles to unique salvaged details, every item feels like it has a story to tell.

I love incorporating pieces like these into projects because they bring a level of warmth, charm, and uniqueness that simply can’t be replicated. Such an inspiring spot for anyone who appreciates timeless design and thoughtful details 🤍

✨Why people moving to Portland, OR choose Sellwood-Moreland.

Tree-lined streets.
Neighborhood restaurants.
Independent shops.
River access.
Parks everywhere.
A mix of architecture and homes with personality.

Sellwood-Moreland has that classic Portland neighborhood feel people are searching for — walkable, creative, connected, and welcoming to so many different lifestyles and age groups.

Featuring: Monty’s Red Sauce, Bible Club, Soulful, Oran Mor, Sellwood Park, Westmoreland Park, the Willamette River, and some of my favorite streets in SE Portland. And, don’t forget the ‘BINS’ aka Goodwill are a fun Weekend activity.

Thinking about relocating to Portland or exploring SE neighborhoods? I’d love to help guide you.
