Hammond featured in OldtimerCulture #4.

I’m incredibly proud and grateful to share that I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside @oldtimerculture to feature Hammond in their latest book, which is now officially available to order.

OldtimerCulture #4 celebrates 100 remarkable vehicles, each carefully selected and brought to life through a beautiful, handmade charcoal drawing. Every car has its own story, character and meaning, and I feel genuinely honoured that Hammond has been chosen to be part of such a special automotive collection.

For those who may not know, Hammond is my 1984 Austin Mini 1000 City E, finished in Almond Green and styled to resemble an early Mk1 Mini. To many, Hammond might be a small classic car, but to me, Hammond represents a lifelong passion for classic Minis, countless memories with my dad, and a very special tribute to my late mum, Laura. The number 47 displayed on Hammond commemorates her life, as she sadly passed away aged 47. This little Mini means more to me than words can ever fully explain.

Seeing Hammond immortalised through an original charcoal illustration is an experience I will always treasure. There is something truly special about seeing a car you love interpreted through an artist’s eyes, capturing its character in a completely different way. Knowing Hammond now has a dedicated page in a book alongside 99 other incredible vehicles makes this milestone even more meaningful.

A massive thank you to @oldtimerculture for selecting Hammond and giving me the opportunity to be part of this project. The care, creativity and dedication behind the book are fantastic, and I’m incredibly grateful to have Hammond’s story preserved in such a unique way. I’m also looking forward to having the physical book and the original charcoal artwork as lasting reminders of this special chapter in Hammond’s journey.

OldtimerCulture #4 is now available to order. The book features 100 vehicles, handmade charcoal illustrations and QR codes that allow readers to watch the drawing process behind each creation.

If you love classic cars, automotive art and the stories behind the machines we cherish, please check out @oldtimerculture.
