👻 Haunted Old Town San Diego with kids? YES.

The historic Cosmopolitan Hotel is packed with Old Town history, spooky legends, and stories of spirits who may still be checking in. 👀

Room 11? Ysidora Bandini.
Room 4/5? The mysterious Lady in Red. ❤️‍🔥👻

While the boutique hotel’s smaller rooms may not be the easiest fit for families, it’s still a fun haunted place to visit with kids—and you can grab dinner and drinks at the on-site restaurant and saloon!

@shay.sullivann ‘s wedding morning photos have lived in my head ever since I saw them, so I had to recreate the vision.

But more than the glam, I loved the idea of documenting this part of the morning.

Brides, have your Shay Sullivan moment. Rethink your “getting ready” photos and save a little time once hair & makeup are actually finished for a main character shoot before the dress 🤍

The cosmopolitan hotel in San Diego is a historic property. Built by Jaun Bandini and later purchased for a stagecoach stop/hotel. Bandini had three daughters from his first marriage — Josefa, Arcadia, and Ysidora, who were fabled to be the most beautiful women in California. Bandini was said to be a partier/dancer. He would host week long parties non-stop. In 1859, he sold his home to pay off debt. He died a short time later.

Paranormal: I stayed in room 11, which is said to be the most active & haunted by Ysidora. Although I didn't see her apparition, I used my SB & caught two very relating words.

GHOST.
BANDINI.

I also caught an orb flying by & it wasn't dust by far. Dust appears like flurries of snow & what i captured was just a single orb.

In my honest personal opinion, the cosmopolitan hotel is haunted certainly. I recommend checking it out if you ever visit the area!!
