Over the years, I’ve met so many talented, creative people with amazing ideas who, I felt, hesitate to take that next step. If that sounds familiar, this event is for you, an opportunity to hear stories from your community and find a little encouragement to move forward.

What a compliment to be one of the speakers, sharing my own story of beginning again and how my next chapter led me to the toy world.

Come listen, connect, and get inspired. Whether you’re dreaming of starting a business, pursuing something creative, or making a change, I hope you leave feeling ready to take that first step. 🍊🧡

Micro-dramas are on track to become a $14 billion industry this year. 📱💰

Studios, streamers and brands are racing to get in. And the one thing every platform needs more of? Writers.

Most vertical series are built on revenge plots and billionaire romances. Viewers keep swiping, but nothing in them shifts. I believe the next wave belongs to writers who can hook people and change them. 💚

So I’m opening the door.

✍️ Adapt my #1 bestseller, Rewriting A New History, into a 10–12 episode vertical micro-series.
🏆 Win $2,000, and have your winning script announced live at the LA Vertical Drama Market, Nov 5–7.
🆓 Registration is 100% FREE.
📖 You get the book FREE, the instant you sign up.

No entry fee. No catch. Just your chance to break into the fastest-growing format in entertainment with a story that changes lives, one episode at a time.

⏰ 16 days left. Deadline: Oct 30, 8:59 PM PT.

Very excited to announce that “5TH” will have its California premiere next Friday, October 23rd at the Old Towne Film Festival in Orange, CA.

Doubly exciting is that I am taking part in the festival’s inaugural Storytelling Night, where I will be giving a talk about how making this film led to growth and change in ways both creative and personal.

Thank you to Dan Parks at OTFF for giving me this opportunity to share the art and the story that so many talented people worked so hard to bring to fruition. As always, thank you to each and every person who worked on this picture 🥲🙏🙌🎞️

At the last LA Vertical Drama Market, I said this from the stage, and I meant every word:

“We get to create and put out the stories that really will make a difference, in ways that are win, win, win for everybody involved.” 🎤

That’s why I built Verticals For Good. Writers win. Audiences win. Brands win. 💚

Now I’m putting it into action. Adapt my #1 bestseller, Rewriting A New History, into a 10–12 episode vertical micro-series. The winner takes home $2,000, and the winning script is announced live at this year’s LA Vertical Drama Market, Nov 5–7.

✍️ Free to enter · Deadline Oct 30 · Link in bio

Who’s ready to write the win? 👇
