A huge thank you to @promisecherrybeach for hosting us and our curated local lineup, and to everyone who made this day special: the team, the artists, and, of course, the audience. It was truly a pleasure.

We enjoyed a sweet dance with both new and old friends, and the vibe was exceptional. Each artist delivered outstanding performances, making the event unforgettable.

We are honored to have been part of this cherished music fixture on the Cherry Beach waterfront for 24 years. Promise remains a cornerstone of Toronto’s music scene, creating inclusive spaces for genuine artistic expression and memorable audience experiences.

Every year, Toronto hosts Art Toronto one of Canada’s leading contemporary art fairs that brings together galleries from around the world, from Buenos Aires and Frankfurt to New York and Sydney.
We visited on Friday and even came back with the kids everyone loved it!
In this carousel, I’ve put together some of the artworks that really caught my eye.
You could see everything from Picasso’s classics to new works from 2025, all in one space.

Have you been this year? Would you go next time?

Touring dump.
Marseille + Barcelona & 4 sets in 3 days for the last 2 weekends.
Last Thursday in São Paulo I played back-to-back dnb and techno sets at @dedgefestival. It was intense - by the end of my techno set I was barely standing. Hope you didn’t catch the pain on my face 😅
Playing dnb takes a completely different kind of energy: you move 10x more than with techno, so physically it hit harder than usual :) Not sure I’ll do that combo again.
Right after the set I went straight to the airport, and then straight into the DJ booth at @theapollo in Toronto 🤪
Grateful for airport lounges with showers - that reset saved me before two flights 🚿 Somewhere on the way I caught a cold 🤧 Played Toronto for @theapolloinc in extreme mode. Then Denver came, and by then I was completely out of space with the flu… but I made it 🥰
On the way home, my flight from Denver was delayed by 6 hours, so I missed my connection to Warsaw… and my train to Kyiv. Had to rebuild the entire route, so now it’s 2 more flights + hotel + train tomorrow 🚀 Home for 2 days 🫠
I love challenges. I love pushing my limits. I love rock’n’roll - been doing it for decades 😎

We’re thrilled to announce our first international booking, @bassam_music. Bassam is a pivotal figure in the underground scene, having founded the esteemed record label, Distrikt Paris. His recent debut album, “Clockwise Rhapsody”, introduces his unique sound through entrancing rhythms and electro grooves.

Opening things up is Toronto’s beloved @olekhar_, a Ukrainian-born DJ and producer known for his hypnotic stylings, as showcased in his masterful electro EP, “Jays in Space”.

Representing Raw Feelings from Montreal, @jalilus will close the night with some infectious techno house. He has recently made waves with the aptly named ‘Dreamworld EP’ release on STILLWELL records.

See you on the dance floor!

A huge shoutout to everyone involved, thank you for making our first showcase a very special one, and to Bassam for sharing his Toronto debut with us. The artists delivered an amazing show, It felt like the room was breathing 😮‍💨. Hope you enjoy the highlights 💘.

Olekhar started off the night with a seamless opening set, playing friend’s productions from his region and neighboring cities, along with a few of his own unreleased records that we were so eager to hear. Thanks again, friend 🤍.

We had a lovely and insightful time with Bassam, having done an interview with him right before his electric set. He gave us a glimpse into his life, music, and experiences in the industry. We’re looking forward to releasing the full interview on YouTube.

After a friendly back-to-back with Bassam and joining us from MTL that day, Jalil took over the decks with his heavy-hitting records, shaking up the dance floor. He delivered a hypnotic and groovy sound, making sure we heard every element of it.

Olekhar, aka Alexander Harris, is a friend of ours and an influential figure in Toronto’s music scene. Molded by German rave culture in the mid-90s, Ukrainian-born DJ and producer @olekhar_ is making waves in our city with the release of his EP “Jays in Space”. We look forward to his breaky electro warmup as he sets the tone this Friday🕺🏽🪐
