---- English version below ---- Last week, the next stream of the mentoring program for internally displaced women to receive up to 1 000 000 UAH each came to an end. This project came about quite by accident. Last year, Julia Yarmolenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of Kyiv BKK Confectionary, and Lesia Zaburanna, Ukrainian MP, came up with the concept, and Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Darnytskyi District of Kyiv, introduced us each other and asked me to help find women who would be interested to participate in the pilot project. The other day, we jointly completed the second stream of our program. Almost 300 women have received the training free of charge. More than 80% of them have already received grants with some of them realising that business is not their calling. They were able to find jobs in newly created businesses right away. Having heard dozens of inspiring stories, we will be launching the third stream very soon. Our goal is not just to give you a fishing rod, but to teach you how to make this rod and how to fish!
