Managed to spectacularly miss last week’s sunday night round up because i was too busy galavanting around Athens and completely forgot 😅🏅✌️

SO here’s a double whammy of lovely people, excellent art choices and general brighton shop goings-on from the last two weeks.

As always, so many awesome customers popped in — including a lovely couple celebrating their 10 year anniversary 💚 and a couple on their honeymoon both marking the occasions with Adam & Dan ceramics (excellent choices ✌️).

There were also several dogs, most notably Cookie (Slide 3) who took the ENTIRE store (and my camera roll) by storm yesterday and frankly stole the show.

Everyone was loving our new Meg Tait wall (a special dedicated post coming soon for that) & our live drawing session with @mmxnson was feckin gorgeous too 😘

Thank you thank you to everyone who popped in, said hello , bought some art, brought their dogs and generally made the shop a very lovely place to be.

you’re the best 💘

A surface that refuses to stay still.

Revealing HEXA7 by Oli Fowler

Rising like a suspended ribbon, Fowler’s composition cuts through oxidised copper with flashes of electric blue, violet, and red.

What appears fixed begins to shift: light activates the surface, exposing new gradients, new tensions, new moments of clarity.

Some art catches the eye. Some pulls you in.

Introducing Undertow — this week’s KELLART theme exploring work with depth, tension and a darker visual pull.

From shadowed urban forms and deep ultraviolet networks to oxidised copper, atmospheric landscapes and painterly colour, these works bring weight to a space.

They create rooms that feel considered, layered and quietly immersive — giving the eye somewhere to settle beyond the surface.

We chose these pieces for their ability to change the atmosphere of a room, not simply fill a wall. For collectors, they offer work with presence; a closer look reveals something deeper each time.

Explore the full Undertow collection via the link in bio, or book a private viewing with KELLART this week.

Look closer. The details make the whole.

Oli Fowler’s Remember Me is built from layers of texture, colour and intricate detail — each element contributing to the impact of the work as a whole.

For Look Again, we wanted to bring attention to the parts you might miss at first glance. For collectors, it’s a piece that rewards time and closer looking, revealing something new the longer you spend with it.

In a home, Remember Me would bring character, depth and a sense of discovery to a space — artwork that invites you to stop and look again.

Discover Oli Fowler’s work on the KELLART website or book a private viewing this week.

LOOK AGAIN.

Some artworks reveal themselves immediately. Others ask you to stay a little longer.
This week, we’re bringing together five artists whose work rewards a second look — from dreamlike landscapes and fragmented figures to expressive abstraction and words that make you pause.

We chose these works because they don’t simply sit on a wall. They change with your perspective, adding depth and character to a space while giving you something new to notice every day.

For collectors, art lovers and anyone looking to bring something considered into their home, this is a collection worth slowing down for.

Explore LOOK AGAIN and discover the works for yourself — link in bio.

Some of my favourite Best Hand XL playing cards I made recently- each one is an original and worked at in a different way - screenprinted, hand painted, scuffed and scratched all in different ways
.
All the flowers used in this new series are compiled from 7 months of me taking photos of the nature around where I live and beyond - actually the poppy and daisy in these artworks are from letchworth and Norwich
