The art that stopped me at The Armory Show.

Loved seeing the Caribbean have such a presence throughout the show. And discovering Cuban twins @elliotanderick, whose @karolg images I already loved, was such a good surprise.

Feel so inspired tonight by these talented artists 🥰❤️

Thursday, August 20th. CCRI John Smith, Ouidah.

Something happened that day that we couldn’t quite put into words.

Ritual. Dance. Poetry. Performance. Creation.

Gesture after gesture, Beninese and Haitian artists came together to weave a collective work, one rooted in shared memories, heritages, and identities.

Two peoples. Two shores of the Atlantic.
Separated by history but bound by everything else.

Le Tissu des Ancêtres is not an exhibition.
It is a space where the voices of the past meet the eyes of the present.

Where we tell. Where we pass things on. Where we remember.
