Today i'm sharing a very special project which I was writing and directing together with @olimagda during the pandemic in 2021.
A shortmovie about life, the changes of life and the development of yourselfs and the needs of the human society in the high age.
The movie is a journey through the feelings of the beautiful Sonja Fröhling who became almost 100 Years.

What does it mean to be a personality with a lot of social contacts, activities and always seeking for the next step in the future and suddenly being not relevant anymore in the society?

Sonja Fröhling, Petar Sekulic and myself went into a dialogue and this beautiful Shortmovie was the result.

@olimagda my beautiful friend and colleague was shooting, developing and cutting this amazing project with me together.
@zweigeistmusic was developing the music for this piece with us together.

Thanks to GDA Wohnstift Frankfurt am Main and @retschynatascha for helping us making this project possible.

Thanks to @hessischekulturstiftung for the financial support during this time and the most gratitude goes to my Grandparents Elisabeth and Rudolf who inspired me to produce this Project. I hope you both are free like birds and rocking it together up there. ✨✨✨🫶

It's reminding myself always to get in connection with the society, giving back what you can give back and don't worry too much about the future.

Ok, ok, gotta face the facts:
Summer has come to an end :)
But the memories still shine bright
From a summer on the road ☀️

Still processing the past months
Thailand, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Baltic Sea, Cologne, Tenerife, and some short pit stops in Berlin.
Honestly, I’d need at least 30 pics to do it all justice, but I’ll give it a shot with 10 ☺️

Here are some highlights from the past months & an outlook to whats coming up:

1: Good times with @prayforglos at @hoppetosse.berlin where we played for Ableton‘s 25th birthday. Such an honor! Thanks for your trust and support, @ableton and @pooja.b.cdwm ♥️ Sept 24

2-4: „Tell us 1 day before you leave“. When you find a place like that you know you are in a good place ;) Thailand was a very much needed break. Was mostly in remote places in the jungle, reading, reflecting, practicing Muay Thai, making music, and feasting on food. Bliss! June/July 24

5&6: From the Indian Ocean to Copenhagen’s harbor baths. Copenhagen in July was a treat and @louisianamuseum blew me away. Couldn’t believe my luck catching @franz.gertsch and @williamkentridgestudio ’s The Refusal of Time! The bike ride there from Copenhagen was worth every mile but took a while 😅 (5 hours tbh, but was a slow ride, with pizza & swims along the way) Also: What a pleasure to see you again @seksylazer !

7: Happy hiking with my friends in Tenerife! 3 weeks full of great food, black beaches, stunning landscapes and lots of 🌞. Will be back soon! Sep/Oct 24

8: Me navigating through life: Fancy dinners all over the world but no money for a proper phone 😆 Berlin, Oct 24

9: Watching the stars & making hearts with my feet & the clouds - not much else to say ☺️ Tenerife, Sept 24.

10. Heading to Belgrade next week for the opening of @spichtigunlimited ’s exhibition at @eugster_belgrade. Very excited for a sweet b2b at the afterparty with my old friend @mitsutek.tmf from Switzerland! Its gonna be our first b2b, so am super excited about this!💥

Feeling properly recharged after this long summer. And grateful for this vida, the travels, and the freedom 💛 After Belgrade, I’ll head to Switzerland. Back in Berlin from early Nov on 🫶🏽

Sending love ❤️

Dears, I hope you are all doing fine! Winter is back but no worries, in just a few days, temperature will double - typical Berlin spring madness, as usual! :)

I haven’t been posting much lately, but I haven’t been completely idle either. I’ve been torn between staying in bed and contemplating life, and going outside to enjoy Berlin spring (when it was there), celebrating birthdays and friendships.

Also felt much love for Kotti again, bid farewell to beloved Minibar, and took some new press pics with forever homie @olimagda ♥️

And I’m thrilled to be back behind the decks this Saturday! I’ll be playing at @das_institut_berlin in Berlin alongside @amomusic_no, @andshemal, and @morgen.musik for @euforique.berlin. My set time: 2:30 - 4:30 am!

Hope to see many of you!

Lots of love from Kotti! ❤️‍🔥
