We’re honoured that our short film “Rock, Paper, Scissors” has been shortlisted in the Live Action Short Film category for the 98th Academy Awards.

It’s a story of survival, youth, courage and impossible choices.

It was only possible because of the strength, trust, and talent of our Ukrainian cast.

Here’s our trailer, thank you for watching.

We are so excited to share the brilliant cast ensemble Claire and Olissa have been building over the past weeks and months. It has been a real labour of love, but we couldn’t be more grateful to Olissa for her incredible eye and generous nature on this project.

We are absolutely brimming with pride about the incredible acting talent we are now enjoying the pleasure of working with and who will be helping us bring Pheasant to life on the big screen later this year. Getting the full cast together on a read through last week (swipe for a sneak peak 👀) kickstarted the process of bringing these characters off the page and well and truly to life.

Over the next few days we’ll be introducing you formally to the full ensemble so keep your eyes peeled; you absolutely should be excited!

We're excited to welcome renowned Casting Director, @olissarogerscasting back to The Actors Guild!

Join us at @spotlightuk on 18th December at 6.30pm for a session offering an inside look at the casting process. Olissa will share practical guidance on preparing for auditions and presenting your most authentic self. Olissa will observe everyone's performance, using scripts from projects she has cast such as School for Good and Evil, Ted Lasso and We are who we are and provide feedback.

Olissa Rogers is a London-based casting director with over 15 years of experience in the screen industry. She began her casting career in Germany in 2008, primarily working on television series, before moving to the UK in 2016. Since then, she has collaborated with some of the industry's leading casting directors, including Jeremy Zimmermann, Kharmel Cochrane, Theo Park (notably on Ted Lasso), Amy Hubbard, and Fiona Weir. Known for her intuitive eye and collaborative spirit, Olissa brings a deep understanding of both the craft and the mindset actors need to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.
