so bittersweet to know i’m almost done with my journey at iowa state.
not to get sappy but coming into this semester i honestly had very little confidence in myself. i was almost sure i was going to be a failure. but instead, i learned so much about myself from the amazing people in my life. i owe it to them for seeing in me what i couldn’t see in myself, and showing me that i’m smart, talented, and deserving of love and support.
academically, this was my best semester by a landslide. i had such a drive to prove my potential and to see that come to fruition has been incredible. i balanced so many incredible opportunities, many of which i wouldn’t have even tried in the past. i went out of my comfort zone, and i realized there are so many more things that i am good at.
so thank you so so much to everyone who believed in me and was there for me this semester. i know a lot of you worried about me sometimes but just know that your kindness and genuine love were always keeping me going. i feel so lucky to have found my people and i am so incredibly sad that i only have one more semester left with them. ❤️❤️

Looking back on the recruitment process that allowed me to grow closer to my friends, the ones who are always there, the ones who live down the hall, the ones that never fail to put a smile on my face, and the ones who without a doubt will always hold a place in my heart. So grateful for each and every one of these girls who have had such a large impact on me in just over a year 🤍🤍
