Ten days with my firstborn son, who flew from London to spend his mid-term break - and my heart feels full 🥰 Sun & salt on our skin. A road trip across the Yucatán Peninsula. Strolling through markets buzzing with colour and smells. Slow café mornings. A messy kitchen bench where he made his latest culinary creations. Dog snuggles on the bed. Bro’s at the BBQ side by side. Cocktails by the resort pool. And the specialness of simply all being together. After all we’ve been through these past few years, we’ve become a small and tight family unit. Having all the cubs under one roof again felt deeply comforting. I don’t know when or where the next reunion will be, but I hope it won’t be too long away. Ollie - I am so very proud of you. We miss you already, more than words can express. 💙✨

Morocco Magic 🇲🇦 Photo summary of the precious time I got to spend with my eldest son Oliver whilst in Morocco last week. Now that he lives on the other side of the world to us, I took the opportunity to extend my stay and fly him down to Marrakech for us to spend a long weekend together. In 2005 I spent several months leading tours in Morocco so it was fantastic to return twenty years later and show Ollie some of my favourite elements of this amazing country. We explored the Medina, walked the streets, sampled the cuisine, travelled to the coastal town of Essouira, experienced a traditional Hammam steam bath, and spent lots of time deep in conversation. Who knows when or where will be the next time we will see each again in person, but I’m already looking forward to our next adventure together.
