I fucking LOVE being the small fish in a big pond

Not just because of what the women around me have achieved, but because of how they challenge my thinking, ask questions I wouldn’t have thought to ask myself and help me recognise things within myself I haven’t quite given myself permission to explore

And this is exactly where your good girl conditioning still shows up - you can spend YEARS investing in yourself, doing the inner work, building a successful business and creating a life you’re incredibly proud of

And STILL find yourself making decisions based on the expecations of others

Be a ‘good girl’

Don’t be too much
Don’t get ahead of yourself
What will people think?
Who do you think you are?

And suddenly, that incredible and intuitive idea you’ve been thinking about for MONTHS is still sitting in your Notes app

That opportunity you’d LOVE to pursue becomes something you’ll do when you’re ‘ready’ 🙄

And you KNOW deep down it’s got absolutely nothing to do with your capabilities

You’re intelligent, driven, self-aware and ambitious AF ❤️‍🔥

But sometimes that old good girl conditioning is still getting a vote in decisions that belong to the woman you are TODAY

Pottery Painting, Tapas and Wine!

Join us at Olive Wine & Tapas Bar for a relaxed and creative evening of pottery painting, delicious tapas and wine, surrounded by the warm and cosy atmosphere of autumn. 🍂

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, this is an evening to unwind, get creative and have some fun!!

On the night, you’ll have the choice of decorating either a hand-thrown ceramic plate or vase, lovingly made by Cerys.

You’ll be encouraged to embrace an autumnal and Halloween-inspired theme, think pumpkins, autumn leaves, rich autumn colours, cosy patterns and a touch of spooky magic. Or simply create something completely your own! ✨

We had such a brilliant time at Fizz & Friends at @olivewineandtapasbar @ @gower_retreats ! 🥂✨

Organised by the lovely @pettifortrust , this special fundraiser was raising money for @woodfieldequinesanctuary - an incredible cause giving horses and ponies in need a second chance. 🐴❤️

We loved the music trivia quiz, live saxophone from @saxstephens , delicious food, auction and raffle, plus plenty of fizz and great company - all while raising money for such an important cause! 🥂

The Pettifor Trust is a Swansea-based animal charity dedicated to promoting animal welfare and supporting independent animal sanctuaries across South West Wales. They raise funds and provide practical support to help local rescues continue their vital work.

Woodfield Equine Sanctuary currently has 76 horses and ponies in their care! 🐴 They’re also holding an open day at the end of November, where you can meet the horses and ponies for yourself, so make sure you check out their social media for more information.
