Little me never thought we would have bridesmaids, so she would be in awe to see this and know how loved we were!! 💗
(+ she would think, “wow they’re so pretty”)

I never thought I cared about the wedding ceremony, and yet it ended up being the moments I remember the most! We were beyond blessed to get married outside in April! There were dark blue rain clouds all around us, but only when we kissed did a few come down to bless us 🌧️
I was so worried about the wind during the ceremony, then my great aunt Vicki said, “you know wind is the Holy Spirit” and that changed my entire outlook! God’s presence felt extremely close that day ♥︎

Everyone warned me not to sweat the small stuff, but looking back I wish I understood that more. The hours from 2-5 felt full of the worst case scenarios. My makeup was patchy (never had that happen before), it was super windy during pre ceremony pictures, my veil blew out trying to do our first look lol, the cross blew over during set up and sliced our djs finger to the bone 🍖 (he’s okay now!) Then we were debating on if we should have the ceremony outside or not and it made me tear up. (Seriously thank God for Sam and my girls/Lukas!!) Now I see how perfectly everything worked out and the things that didn’t go as planned are great memories!! 10/10 recommend getting married, it’s the best ever!! 0/10 recommend sweating the small stuff for real!!!!!!
