dear volleyball,

i can’t even explain how much of an impact this sport has had on my life. it started out as a fun hobby in middle school and when i made the team my 8th grade year, i didn’t realize how my life would change. i never thought that i would be here my senior year still playing volleyball because of how late i started compared to others, but volleyball slowly became my whole world. through all of the long practices, late game nights, and dutch bros runs, i couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to do it with. this team became my second family. thank you to my coaches, the underclassmen, and this special group of seniors for always supporting and believing in me. Davie County Volleyball will always hold a special place in my heart and the memories i’ve made with this team will always be my favorite. i can’t believe it’s come to an end. thank you for everything Davie Volleyball!

genuinely can’t begin with how this sport has impacted my life. through the many ups and downs it’s been a memory i’ll now look back on forever. a sport that started as just something small turned into part of who I became. this year has been exactly how I would want it to end. the friendships, the coaches, the underclassmen, all people who became family. i’m so thankful for everyone who pushed me to become a better athlete everyday no matter what. i’ll forever love this sport and the people that were by my side with it all. goodbye number 2🖤🧡

Dear Volleyball,

I never thought my time would come. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this sport and all it has done for my life. I have met the most incredible athletes and some of my best friends simply through volleyball. From every late night game, long bus ride, pregame dutch bro run, failed slick back, and unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime, it was always from volleyball. 6 years ago I tried out for my middle school team on a whim and who would’ve know it would have turned into my biggest passion. Saying goodbye to my first love isn’t easy especially since it was such a constant in my life. No matter the kind of day I was having I looked forward to practice and spending those hours escaping reality. I have so much gratitude and respect for the game and and wouldn’t have wanted to spend it with any another program besides @dcvolleyball . Davie County Volleyball has blessed me with my best friends and such amazing mentors and I couldn’t be more grateful. I would also like to thank God for giving me the ability to play the sport I love. I thank Him for allowing me to pursue my passion of playing volleyball happily and keeping me healthy every year! Thank you to everyone who made each season so special and for making unforgettable memories with me that I could never forget. #6 out 🥹
